Daphnia

Daphnia is an excellent treat for smaller community fish. It has a very strong attractant for fish that are hard to feed and/or are not eating. Daphnia, as a member of the Zooplankton community, forms the smallest sized feed we sell. They continuously graze on micro-algae, Aphanizomenon flo-aquae - a particular species of blue-green algae (Cyanophyta). These algae are a main source of poly-unsaturated fatty acids, phycocyanin and carotenes. Packaged in a new smaller cube to help prevent overfeeding of a smaller tank

Emerald Entree

(Our version of a Formula 2). Although formulated for marine fish, this diet has been shown to be an excellent diet for freshwater tropical fish as well. Fish that rely on micro-algae and vegetable matter as a main nutrition source will benefit from Emerald Entrée's complete nutritional package. We added Mysis (opossum shrimp) as a natural attractant. Goldfish Food (New)

Krill

Our krill is harvested from Arctic waters and contains extremely high amounts of omega-3's (about 40% of the total amount of essential fatty acid found in krill). Also found in high amounts are methionine and lysine, amino acids that the fish cannot produce themselves so they need to be present in supplied foods for optimum health. Krill contains astaxanthin, a carotenoid easily metabolized by most fish species and is responsible for the vibrant colors of tropical fish. This is an excellent alternative to feeder fish for large freshwater and marine tropical fish.

White Mosquito Larvae (aka Glassworms)

This new single ingredient food is a great compliment to any freshwater diet. They come from lakes that freeze over and are only available during the winter months. The temperature of the lake creates an animal with a very high protein and fatty acid profile, to the point that it is triple that of the bloodworms.
